From a young age, Adam always found himself drawn to civic and political issues. When the towers were struck in 2001, he committed himself to the fight for freedom throughout the world. After studying International Politics, Arabic, and Islamic Studies at BYU and the University of Utah, he dedicated the next several years of his life to counterterrorism efforts throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Adam specialized in treaty brokering, hostage negotiation, and localized intelligence.
Following his work overseas, Adam continued counterterrorism and government support through a company he founded in 2010, which today employs almost 1,000 people. These dedicated individuals serve the citizens of the United States and 21 countries throughout the world.
Adam’s unique experience working in both the public and private sectors gives him an in-depth perspective on functional, limited government that he looks forward to applying to Mapleton’s City Council.
When not pontificating on the perils of the world, Adam enjoys spending time with his family. He loves the mountains, especially skiing and backpacking. He enjoys playing any sport that uses a ball, and vicariously living through professional athletes. His spare time is filled with finding creative ways to make his children's lives miserable (their words, not his) through work.
He calls it love.
